Internal Learning Management System
A major Jacksonville corporation needed a learning management system for their internal employees. Each employee had a required number of continual learning courses they had to accomplish each year. The corporation needed a way to show employees approved courses and track when they had completed them. On top of basic reporting, they needed ways for managers to recommend activities to their direct reports, assign external activities to employees, and a manager only backend to view sophisticated reports on which employees were and were not on track to meet their goals.
Product Conversion Management System
A Canadian based company had found a unique service niche in converting cassettes into digital media for their customers. The company had grown 4-fold in a year and they were struggling to keep track of where cassettes were in the conversion process. Bold City was brought in to design & develop an internal system that tracked each tape based on barcode as it moved through the process. Our system allowed users to sign-in by scanning their employee badge followed by a tape barcode. On sign-in, the employee could see the status of the tape and move it through the various steps of conversion, adding notes at each milestone. The tape customer was notified automatically by email as it hit certain milestones. A sophisticated manager blackened allowed the company to see their top employees based on productivity as well as keep track of the status on each tape.
New Employee Training System
A Jacksonville based company needed a new employee training system due to the high number of new hires. A system was developed that guided the new employee through various onboarding videos and was also available post-training as reference material. The system saved the company hundreds of hours in manual training.
Custom Billing System
A Boston based business relies heavily on contract workers. Due to the nature of their business, they are submitted hundreds of invoices monthly from individual contractors. The amount of time they were spending with management approval and payout was getting out of hand. Bold City was brought in to design a custom billing system that would automate the invoice submission and manager approval. Each contractor would have their own login and upon invoice submission would automatically be sent to the appropriate manager or principal for approval. Once final approval was granted, the invoice synced with the company payroll system to automatically send out payment.
